From a major fruit and hop growing enterprise in the late 19th Century, Stonepitts Farm became one of the UK's first pick your own strawberry farms in the 1960's.
Martin and Jackie Clews bought the farm in 1989 and have continued to grow strawberries and raspberries as a popular pick your own destination and since the 1990's the Clews' family have branched out into Christmas tree growing and are now one of the major suppliers in the area.
We are proud to offer several varieties of Strawberries, Raspberries and Tayberries to pick your own throughout June until early August. Our strawberries are traditionally grown, outside and on straw, which not only protects the fruit but also enhances the flavour. We have six varieties of Strawberries and three varieties of Raspberries.
Christmas trees open From 9am - 4pm, 7 days a week (from 22nd Nov) and our farmyard will be stocked with Premium Grade Nordmann "low needle-drop" Christmas trees, holly wreaths, mistletoe
